BEACH ACTIVITIES

St Brelade’s Bay on the south coast of Jersey is a good spot for fun beach activities. SUP-Paddleboarding is good here, a wiz around the bay in a RIB is fun and it’s a popular location for coasteering. Jersey is one of the best places in Europe for sea kayaking.

CYCLING

Jersey is, outiside of the town centre, a bike friendly island. A main cycle route goes from Havre des Pas in the town all the way to Corbiere. An island wide network of green lanes give priority to cyclists and pedestrians, with speed limits of 15mph. [5 Cycle Routes in Jersey…]

GOLF

La Moye Golf Course is an 18 hole links type course with stunning views. The Royal Jersey Golf Club is right on Royal Grouville Bay. This 18 hole, Par 70, course is open to visitors who are members of a recognised club. Proof of handicap or membership is required. St Clements Golf Club is a short 9 hole course- par 33- on the outskirts of St Helier, ideal for families and beginners.

SURFING

St. Ouen’s Bay stretches for 5 miles along the length of Jersey’s Atlantic west coast.
The bay has some strong currents and rips and the beach is not patrolled by lifeguards all year round.
Your first point of contact should be the Jersey Surfboard Club, who can advise on local conditions and resources.

WALKING
