Activities in Jersey

BEACH ACTIVITIES

St Brelade’s Bay on the south coast of Jersey is a good spot for fun beach activities. SUP-Paddle boarding is good here, a wiz around the bay in a RIB is fun, and it’s a popular location for coasteering. Jersey is one of the best places in Europe for sea kayaking.

CYCLING

Jersey is, outside of the town centre, a bike-friendly island. A main cycle route goes from Havre des Pas in the town all the way to Corbiere. An island-wide network of green lanes prioritises cyclists and pedestrians, with speed limits of 15mph. [5 Cycle Routes in Jersey…]

GOLF

There are three good golf courses in Jersey. La Moye Golf Course is an 18-hole link course with stunning views. The Royal Jersey Golf Club is right on Royal Grouville Bay. This 18-hole, Par 70 course is open to visitors who are members of a recognised club. Les Mielles is a family-orientated golf course on the west of the island.

SURFING

St. Ouen’s Bay stretches for 5 miles along Jersey’s Atlantic west coast.
The bay has strong currents and rips, and lifeguards have not patrolled the beach year-round.
Your first point of contact should be the Jersey Surfboard Club, which can advise on local conditions and resources.
