Rozel Bay is a small beach and harbour quietly tucked away on the north coast of Jersey. Originally the harbour was built for local oyster fisherman, today there is a mix of small fishing and leisure boats. At mid to high tide the bay is a pleasant and safe bay to take a dip.
WHERE TO EAT
A local institution, The Hungry Man on the pier is a popular kiosk cafe for tea and bacon butties and crab sandwiches are reliably good.
The Rozel Pub is a nice gastropub with a local feel, just a stone’s throw from the bay and conveniently right next to the bus stop. For all-day English Breakfasts, one of the best afternoon teas in Jersey and a charming patio garden visit the Rozel Bay Tea Room, a scone’s throw from the bay.
On the hill is the Chateau La Chaire hotel, a nice spot for a romantic dinner.
GETTING THERE
Despite being- by local standards- a little remote, Rozel is well served by a bus route from town.
