Best restaurants in Jersey with a sea view
CORBIERE PHARE
On a summer’s day, reserve a table outside for an incredible seascape with the waves crashing against the lighthouse in the foreground. The sunsets can be absolutely incredible! In winter and on cooler autumn evenings, enjoy the views from inside the restaurant or up at the bar with the locals. The set menu is excellent value. Start with superb tempura prawns or pan-seared scallops. Classics like fish n’ chips are always a reliable choice, and this is one of the best places to eat local bass. Breakfasts are served daily, and Sunday lunch is popular with locals and visitors. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly from owner ‘Geordie Paul’ and his staff. You can stay in this S/C apartment overlooking Corbiere Lighthouse and the Atlantic facing St Ouen’s Bay.
CRAB SHACK AT GOREY
The laid-back atmosphere with alfresco tables enjoying views across the road to Gorey Castle and Grouville Bay makes this one of our favourite outdoor dining options in the summer. Local oysters and crab linguini are our favourite dishes.
EL TICO BEACH CANTINA
One of the best locations for sunset dining is right in front of the majestic St Ouen’s Bay on Jersey’s west coast. Beach vibes and a casual atmosphere. There are outside tables just a stone’s throw from the beach.
TIDES
Located at the Somerville Hotel with sweeping views of the quaint harbour at St Aubin and across the bay to St Helier. Outside tables are in demand in summer with locals and visitors in the know. Cocktails are well mixed, and the wine list will suit any palette and pocket. Classic dishes with a modern twist, like grilled whole Jersey plaice on the bone with sautéed new potatoes or local lobster with prawns and scallops, are always beautifully prepared and presented. In the evening, the setting is even more romantic with the lights shining across St Aubin’s Bay.
