Ouaisne Bay

Ouaisne Bay in Jersey

A beautiful, wide sandy beach with perfect swimming conditions on the south coast of Jersey. Even though it is right next door to the most popular tourist beach in Jersey- St Brelade’s Bay– the beach at Ouaisne it is much quieter and less crowded.

FACILITIES:

Plenty of car parking and public toilets.

EAT & DRINK:

The Smuggler’s Inn is a good old-fashioned pub, and a very good beach cafe is just across the road

GETTING THERE:

There is no bus service to Ouaisne. You can get a bus to Portelet and ask the driver to drop you off at the Ouaisne turning, you just then stroll down the hill to the bay. Another option is to get one of the frequent buses to St Brelade’s Bay and simply walk along the beach- low tide- or over the ‘hump’ at high tide.
