Green Island in Jersey

Green Island AKA La Motte is a small sandy beach just outside of town; it is the most southerly beach in the British Isles.
At low tide, you can walk out to the small ‘green island’ in the bay, but remember, Jersey has one of the fastest tides on earth!
Being southerly facing means the beach is a sunbathers dream and at low tide rock pools are exposed to delight kids of all ages.

FACILITIES:

Car park, toilets a beach cafe and an excellent restaurant.

GETTING THERE:

Walk along the beach from Havre des Pas or get a bus from town– about 15 minutes.
