Our favourite places to play golf in Jersey
Jersey golf courses can compare well with the best golf courses in the UK.
Harry Vardon- who inspired a young Tiger Woods to take up the game- was our most famous Jersey-born golfer, and many British golfers, including Tony Jacklin and Ian Woosnam, have made Jersey their home over the years,
From link courses overlooking the Atlantic to golf courses with castles and forts.
LA MOYE GOLF CLUB
La Moye Golf Club is one of the most scenic links in the British Isles, with a par 72 for men and 74 for ladies. The backdrop of St Ouen’s Bay looking toward the other Channel Islands provides a stunning backdrop for this 18-hole course. Visiting golfers with a recognised handicap are welcome but must comply with the club’s dress code.
LES MIELLES GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Located at St. Ouen’s Bay, Les Mielles Golf & Country Club offers a challenging 18 Hole Championship Golf Course. Open to members and visitors all year round with a par of 70 for gents and 71 for ladies. There is a bar/ restaurant and a kid’s play area too.
ROYAL JERSEY GOLF COURSE
The Royal Jersey Golf Course on the island’s east coast is an 18-hole, 6120 yards golf course that stretches along the sandy Grouville Bay,
There is a fort in the middle of the course and German gun placements running the length of the 1st hole, and as if that wasn’t enough history for a round of golf, well, there is also the castle at Gorey in the near distance. Visitors are welcome but check with the club for green fees and time slots.
