Where to eat on the beach in Jersey.

From bacon butties at a beach shack to high quality, fresh local seafood steps from the sand, Jersey is one of the best places in Britain to eat beachfront.
Here are a few of our favourite ‘beachfront bites’ in Jersey:

GREEN ISLAND RESTAURANT

This has been a local favourite for years. A small and friendly bistro-style restaurant with outside tables looking out over the gorgeous beach at Green Island. Local seafood is always a good choice on the Mediterranean-style menu. On a recent visit, local scallops were perfectly cooked with a sweet potato purée and samphire. In summer, reservations for tables outside are essential.

THE BEACH CLUB

Right on the promenade overlooking St Brelade’s Bay open from breakfast and brunch through to sunset drinks and dinner.

LE BRAYE

This is an amazing location right on the seafront at St Ouen’s Bay, and it’s a cut above your standard beach cafe. Line-caught fish, homemade beef burgers, moules frites, great nachos, carafes of delicious Gascon wines and one of the best crab sandwiches in Jersey. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, with no dinner service on Sunday.

PORTELET BAY CAFE

There is no doubt that Portelet Bay is one of the best beaches in Jersey, and there is another reason to amber down the stairs to this lovely bay, a fantastic pizza cafe right on the sand.
Portelet Bay Cafe serves wonderful woodfired pizza, delicious freshly made vegan salads, and local fish. Lunch and dinner only, in summer reservations, are strongly recommended.
