Our Top 5 beach cafes in Jersey:
On the northwest of the island right on the small bay of Greve de Lecq. Cakes are especially recommended.
FORT VIEW CAFE:
Unassuming, friendly small cafe with indoor & outdoor tables right in front of St Aubin’s Fort in St Aubin’s Bay. One of the best value English breakfasts in Jersey and interesting specials like Welsh rarebit and Vegan Bruschetta are reliably good.
This small kiosk with a few chairs and tables on the picturesque Rozel Harbour is a local institution.
The bacon buttie is always good as are the burgers.
Scones are the size of a small island, the tea is served in oil barrels and the Double Decker Health Wrecker is on your doctors don’t do list.
MAD MARY’S CAFE:
THE LINE UP:
Basically a mobile kitchen right on the beach at St Ouen’s Bay, but one of the most popular beach cafes in Jersey.
Great bacon rolls and gut-busting American style burgers.
As for the view, you’d be hard pressed to beat it with Atlantic waves crashing down on St. Ouen’s Bay just yards away.
